To help students have a good taste of English humour, our school's English newspaper is going to publish English humourous stories in the “Foreign Cultures” column.
The humourous English stories can be your original stories or adapted from others' as long as the contents are funny and excellent. What's more, the number of the words is limited to 200. If you are interested in it, please send your work to schoolenglishnewspaper@163.com before June 1st.

After that day, I began to prepare for topics to talk with Miss Brown. My topics differed from day to day, covering from daily life to fashion or current news. Certainly, every time before meeting Miss Brown, I would prepare my topic carefully so that I could know what to talk with her. Miss Brown was really kind-hearted. Every day she spent about one hour with me. When I made a mistake, she would patiently correct it and told me not to be afraid of making mistakes. Thanks to her help, I became one of the students who spoke French best in our class.

Four months later, I graduated from that school, and I still kept practicing. I joined a weekly French meet-up group and listened and tried to speak in French. Then later, I found a job in a French company, where my colleagues were all speaking French. And I also made some friends there. They were from different countries like Germany, Austria and Sweden, but we spoke French together. Because of frequent practice, now I can speak French very well. So if you're learning a foreign language, do remember to create more chances of practicing it.
