應(yīng)用文寫作(One possible version)
Good morning, everyone!
I’m very glad to share my favorite English saying with you.
Of all the English sayings I like, my favorite one is “Stay hungry. Stay foolish”. Steve Jobs once mentioned it in his famous speech, which left me a deep impression. In my opinion, “Stay hungry” means people should be hungry for success and keep moving. “Stay foolish” means people should remain modest and keep on learning. I like it very much because it inspires me to keep making progress and improve myself.
That’s all. Thanks for listening!

Paragraph 1:
A few days later, a check came in the mail. It was completely unexpected. It was not much, a few hundred dollars, but it did come at the perfect time. A lot of people wanted to join us to help the people in need. I also got help from many companies. I was able to get 50 blankets at a big discount when the store manager heard why I needed so many. And another friend who saw the post put together 25 backpacks to give out with her daughters.
Paragraph 2:
We wanted to help the following year. Inspired by people’s generosity, we decided to make a long-term plan. We worked with two local police department groups and organized volunteers to help hand out bags. We set up an account, accepting donations of canned goods, new socks, etc. A friend working at a department store used her friends’ and family’s discount cards to get us 50 brand-new backpacks. So we had enough to give out this Christmas.
