I’m writing to apply to be a volunteer for maintaining public transport order advertised in the newspaper.
I’m Li Hua, 18, an easy-going and friendly exchange student. While I have been here just for a few months, I know well that the traffic in the city is very heavy on Friday afternoons. Therefore, I’m eager to help maintain public transport order and relieve the traffic stress. Having helped maintain public transport order for three years, I have accumulated much experience in dealing with traffic incidents. With no classes on Fridays, I’m sure to be on duty from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. If I’m given the opportunity, I will do whatever I can to help maintain the public transport order with other volunteers.
