I had many difficulties when I started to learn English. Since I come from Chaoshan District, I could not tell / r / from / l /. Because they sound exactly the same in my dialect, I had great difficulty in telling “right” from “l(fā)ight”. My poor memory was another challenge for me when I decided to enlarge my vocabulary.
